The Unconservatory

Patricia Stanila,

Graphic Artist / Designer

Graphic Artist Patricia Stanila was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. She studied engineering, architecture and design at the Perera Institute in Caracas. After completing courses in all three areas of study, she settled upon her favorite focus: the field of design.

Patricia worked for six years as a freelance designer. Her work has graced the covers of magazines, including Radar de la Florida. From 2000 to the present she has worked at Sir Speedy / Bird Road, Miami.

Patricia: "While I am very busy at my job, I enjoy it immensely. I work quite a bit on projects with the owner, Pascale Ethéart Arty. Between artistic demands, deadlines and communications with clients, things can get crazy. At times like this Pascale and I think of each other as ‘Abbott & Costello!’ Our world is spinning around us, but we are having a great time."

Patricia has contributed the graphic designs for five Whipple & Morales recordings: The White Season, Elemental Portraits, Danzas Para Dos Pianos, Latin Lovers, and most recently Celebrating Americans. She has also been integral to the graphic design of concert programs and other literature published by Whipple & Morales.

Kirk Whipple & Marilyn Morales: "We feel that Patricia has beautifully communicated the graphic inspirations for our CDs. She added some very original touches without distorting our original message. We enjoy working with Patricia. The three of us are always happy with the final product."
