Nathan Figueroa, Piano ~ Studio of Maite Torrelles Nathan Figueroa is a Choruster in the Miami Childrens Chorus. He will attend the fifth grade next year at Perrine Elementary. This was Nathans third year to perform in the Superintendents Honors Keyboard Music Festival and his first year to perform in the strings division on violin.

Talia Ore, Piano ~ Studio of Maite Torrelles Talia Ore will be attending fifth grade at Leewood Elementary School and speaks English and Spanish. She also plays violin. Her hobbies are reading, drawing, listening to music, dancing and computer games. Her favorite sports are swimming, bicycling, running and jumping.

Claudia Tomas, Piano ~ Studio of Debora Sanchez Correa Claudia Tomas is ten years old and has been playing for two years. This year she won the "Alternate" prize at the Concerto Competition and the First Place plus Plaque at the Youth Fair Competition.

Christopher Julien, Piano ~ Studio of Tyrone Lans Christopher Julien is a twelve-year-old magnet keyboard student at Southwood Middle School. He has been studying piano with a private teacher, Tyrone Lans, for the past seven years. In his spare time, he likes to play Tennis, compose music, watch Japanese Animation, and play online videogames.

Dana Concepcion, Piano ~ Studio of Sydney Guillaume Dana Concepcion will be a Junior at Coral Reef Senior High School this year. She has performed in the Superintendents Honors Keyboard Music Festival.

Frank Perez, Piano ~ Studio of Johailen Frometa Frank Perez is eleven years old and has been playing piano for three years. He was awarded Second Place at the 2004 Youth Fair Competition.

Yank'l Garcia, Viola ~ Studio of Viera Borisova Accompanist: Ruben Rojas Yank'l Garcia is a currently studying at New World School of the Arts High School. She is also a violist in the school orchestra and performs in a string quartet with other members from the New World School.

Ernesto Fernandez, Flute ~ Studio of Lillian Santiago Ernesto Fernandez, a sophomore in the Advanced Band & Orchestra at South Miami Senior High School, has offered concerts to support children protection organizations in Dominican Republic and Miami. In 2003 & 04 he was awarded "Superior with Distinction" in the Florida State Solo & Ensemble contest. He is a member of the National, Spanish, & Mathematics Honor Societies, 2003 & 04 All-County Honors Band, South Florida Youth Symphony, and played in the 9 - 10 grade All-State Band.

This year she was awarded First Place plus Plaque and Perfect Score at the Youth Fair Competition, Second Place at the Miami Music Teachers Association Merit Scholarship and was invited to perform at the Miami Music Teachers Foundation Honors Recital.
